Our Partner in Singapore
Al-Zuhri (www.zuhri.com.sg) or Institute Pengajian Tinggi Al-Zuhri was established in 2000 and offers Islamic studies for adults covering certificate, diploma, degree and post graduate levels. This institution gained much inspiration from Prof SMN Al-Attas and ISTAC in terms of its philosophy, methodology and key objectives. Prof SMN al-Attas himself had delivered several lectures organized by Al-Zuhri when he was in Singapore.

This institution has collaborated with RZS Casis-UTM for the postgraduate program (MA and PhD) in 2016 when Prof Wan Daud was the director there. A significant number of the participants successfully completed the program. Al-Zuhri also participated in the Regional Seminar on Islamic Worldview and Civilization at Bandung in 2019 jointly organized by RZS Casis and several institutions in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

Al-Zuhri has been organizing the Program Islamisasi Ilmu (PII) since 2010 by Prof Wan Mohd Nor Wan Daud. The PII focuses on the elucidation of the philosophy and methodology of education by Prof SMN al-Attas and attended by the leadership, management team, lecturers and teachers. To-date and after more than 10 years in 2024, the yearly lectures are still being conducted online basis. In 2013, Al-Zuhri and its affilliate institutions, Andalus and Cordova organised a symposium attended by about 1,400 diploma in Islamic studies students (part-time); the main theme was Muslim Scholars in the Malay World and Prof SMN was one of the scholars presented by Dr Roslan Abd Jelani.

In addition, Andalus (www.andalus.com.sg) and affiliate of Al-Zuhri has been organizing the Training of Trainers’ series by Dr Roslan Abd Jelani since 2015 till now. It covers topics on leadership, psychology, education and others, largely based on the framework by Prof Syed Naquib Al-Attas.

Several initiatives have also been made to introduce the worldview initiatives to selected individuals and organizations in Singapore. Several key persons from these institutions attended the Thinking With Wisdom (TWW) program by Ikim and the WISE program by Ta’dib and Hakim. We also facilitate visits by Ikim and others to institutions in Singapore.
