Insist (https://insists.id/) or Institute for the Study of Islamic Thought and Civilization was established in 2003 and active in organizing seminars, lectures and talks over the years.

Insist scholars are also active writing in books, magazines and contributing the local mainstream media to share important views. Quite a number of its founders graduated from ISTAC in Kuala Lumpur.
