Dr. Dinar Dewi Kania completed her undergraduate studies in Air Transportation Management and obtained her master’s degree in Human Resources. After working as a professional, she decided to pursue research and enter academia. She is currently active as a researcher at the Institute for the Study of Islamic Thought and Civilizations (INSISTS) and serves as the Executive Director of The Center for Gender Studies (CGS), which manages a website dedicated to the study of feminism and gender at www.thisisgender.com.

At the same time, she holds editorial positions in several academic journals, including the Ta’dibuna and Tawazun Islamic Education journals at the Postgraduate School of Universitas Ibn Khaldun (UIKA) Bogor, as well as the ISLAMIA Journal of Islamic Thought and Civilization.

She earned her doctorate in Islamic education and thought with a dissertation titled “A Comparative Study of the Epistemological Thought of Frithjof Schuon and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas” at Universitas Ibn Khaldun Bogor, under the Ulama Cadre Program of the Indonesian Islamic Da’wah Council (DDII).
